I am using a VPN chrome extension called Browsec. To download Browsec, click on the three-dot menu on the top right and click on more tools and then click on extensions.
- On the extension, page click on the hamburger menu on the top left and click on “Open chrome web store” on the bottom left.
- Once the chrome extension web store opens, just search for Browsec and click on “Add to Chrome.”
- Once done, you will see that Browsec is added to your chrome extension list which will be visible on the top right.
- Now open TikTok once again and click on Browsec plugin icon and switch it on. It will route your connections through the US server. TikTok is still working in the US. In case, it gets banned in the USA then choose other servers inside the Browsec plugin and connect.
- Once done just refresh the page and you should see a watch now button on the top right corner log in with your email id or phone number.
- Solve the captcha if TikTok asks, and you will be able to use TikTok normally.
Important – Slow buffering while browsing TikTok via VPN
You might encounter some issues with the video playback. Do note that the videos are being played via a VPN resulting in slow buffering. To solve the buffering issue and use TikTok in India properly, just go to the user page of your favorite creator and switch off the VPN. Now you will be able to see their videos without buffering. But the issue with this is that whenever you navigate away you will get an error, just start the VPN again and you will be able to navigate from one page to another
