How to change background color on Instagram story?

Whether you are using Instagram for your business or to showcase your personal life, you should know how to change the background color on your Instagram story.

The default palette that Instagram picks for your story background is based on your picture or video’s colors or posts you share as the story. Hence adding a bit of flair to your story wouldn’t just make it interesting and give it a unique style.

On the downside, for some reason, there is no way you can add a video with a custom background color on your Instagram. You can only post pictures/images with a custom background color, image, or pattern as your Instagram story. If you are planning to post a video from your phone’s gallery, you have to stick with Instagram’s default background color.
